Condition: Hardcovers in half-leather, ex-library; cover boards have fairly heavy rubbing to edges and corners, surface wear to lower front covers presumed from library sticker removal. Upper page edges gilt. Endpapers marbled to match covers, each with a very lovely bookplate. Following the endpapers are where the two large library bookplates are, but beyond that the only other library indications inside are on the reverse of the title page. Books are otherwise clean and unmarked. Each have a bookdealer's ticket in the back from S.G. Rains, "importer and dealer in rare and old books" in New York. Bindings are secure.
